About us
Not just a brand. A destination: Our Story
The Spark
The Foreigners Club didn’t just start in a ordinary boardroom or a design studio. It started far away from home. In the middle of nowhere. Specifically in the small local towns of South Africa. Where one conversation started it all. Driven by exploring all natures beauties, within this group of adventurelike individuals, we have the urge of meeting the kindest people across the world and looking for the most beautiful places on earth.
We are all foreigners, yet exploring feels like coming home.
The Philosophy
Maybe the word ‘foreigner’ implies you don’t belong. At The Foreigners Club, we see it differently. Being a foreigner is a courageous move. It means the courage to step out of your comfortzone, to be the one who is eager to learn new cultures.
We believe that boundaries are meant to be crossed, not just on a map, but more importantly in our minds. Whether you are hiking through the Highlands or navigating the chaotic streets in Asia. We value curiosity over comfort.
The Craft
We don’t just ‘make clothes’. In an industry dominated by fast fashion and disposable trends, we choose a different path: Resilience.
- Our clothing is made from the highest quality materials we can find. We select fabrics that feel premium and soft against your skin but are strong enough to survive all adventures.
- Our clothing is designed for movement. Ensuring you look as good in a airport terminal lounge as you do in a local street-food stall.
Our Commitment
As travelers, we are guests of this planet. Safe to say it would be a contradiction to explore the world while destroying it. The Foreigners Club is committed to a slow-travel approach to fashion.
We prioritize small production batches, high quality and built-to-last clothing. We aren’t perfect, but we are transparant. Our goal is to create pieces that last a decade, not a season. Our goal is that your favorite hoodie has as much adventures as you do.
The Invitation
We are just getting started on this roadmap, and we’re glad you’re in for the ride. At the Foreigners Club we don’t have customers, we have members.
Become part of the community that values the journey more than the destination.
Welcome to the Club. Where to next?
- Ruben – The Founder of The Foreigners Club.
